Why is it that Anti-vape "scientists and anti-vape lobby groups" drop single stupid junk science tweets, then get critised by vapers using valid arguments against it, but never willing to go into discussion with these vapers? e.g. Laying rotten eggs which hatch as smelly cuckoos.

The GVN E-cigarette & vaping Knowledge Center is the Globalvapenews.com archive of published scientific papers on e-cigarette & vaping research through whole the world. We collect and analyse and collect comments on these publications. If we notice that a specific publication gets too many negative response because of flaws or fraud or even junk science, we will produce an article for this and we will notify the vaping community.
You can search our knowledge base for published papers and comments. We do not have these papers on our own server due to copyright matters, but we will link you to the source. In most cases you will find an abstract of the scientific paper because often the full text is hidden behind a paywall.
Another part of the Knowledge Center wil give you general information on e-cigarettes & vaping with contemporary knowledge. The focus here lies on using the devices and harm reduction while trying to stop smoking tobacco cigarettes.
The need to combat misinformation
Deliberate misinformation on vaping is the main reason why vaping has to suffer exaggerated regulations worldwide. The numbers don’t lie, vaping reduces significant the amount of smokers. This this can be demonstrated statistically, when looking at countries in Scandinavia, Iceland and the United Kingdom.
Most misinformation is produced in the USA which is roaming around the world. It’s quite odd that EU governments are more eager to look at US policies regarding to vaping than to the succesful policies on tobacco harm reduction, by – for example – the Brittish, icelandic and scandinavian governments.
It’s a priority to fight junk science on vaping and to give politicians the factual information without deliberated bias, so they can make policies which actually will benefit public health.
Vaping: what people are getting wrong | The Economist
Most people don’t know the facts about vaping
The video from The Economist shows that most people don’t know the facts about e-cigarettes. It also shows that most people are influenced by misinformation brought to them by mainstream media.
In this video, Natasha Loder (HealthPolicy editor, Economist) and Robert West (Professor of Health Psychology, University College London) debunk the most known erroneous “facts” about vaping and nicotine.
Bernd Mayer: Die E-Zigarette. Fakten & Mythen
E-cigarettes are mistakenly “demonized” again and again in media reports. Self-appointed experts warn urgently against their use, and horror studies try to attribute the e-cigarette to be equally harmful, if not more so than tobacco cigarettes.
The pharmacologist and toxicologist Bernd Mayer from the University of Graz has now taken up this topic and explains the facts and myths about the e-cigarette in his book in an understandable form. In doing so, the expert exposes the arguments against switching to vaping as claims made by certain interest groups that are not supported by science, above all from the pharmaceutical industry and the public health system, which is closely linked to industry.

A recommendable book for everyone who is considering the e-cigarette as an alternative to smoking – and wants to stick with it. (German Language)
